Mission Statement

The Richland Cemetery Association, a community owned non profit organization, was formed in 1959 for the following reasons:

To take over the ownership and management of the city's existing historic Resthaven Cemetery whose first burial took place in 1909.
To be visionary in the building of additional sites to meet the changing needs and growth of the community
To provide an Endowment Fund for the present and future preservation of these sites.
To promote the importance of memorialization in a community setting, by offering families a permanent point of remembrance to family members lost and to provide a lasting public record of our community's heritage.
To offer at all times the highest respect and dignity to the human remains entrusted to our care.
To offer accurate information and caring support to all who seek our help.
