Since its inception, Sunset Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums has provided a beautiful sanctuary where a loved ones life can be honored and remembered.

Sunset Memorial Gardens and Mausoleums, located next to Einan's Funeral Home and Crematorium at Swift Blvd. and the By-Pass Hwy, and Historic Resthaven Cemetery, located on Williams Boulevard, are operated by the Richland Cemetery Association, a nonprofit community operated association. The Association, with offices at Sunset Memorial Gardens, has been providing places where loved ones come to meditate on the "Good Memories" of those who have passed on. Features like mature trees, a beautiful pond, benches and colorful flower beds throughout, create a warm setting for families, friends and visitors. Meticulous care is taken by the staff to keep the grounds in parklike condition, suitable for peaceful and relaxing visits any time of the year. Usually the Cremated human remains are placed in varying types of Urns which can be permanently placed indoors or outdoors.

Outdoor offerings include granite and marble fronted niches. A group of niches, called a columbarium, provides a unique outdoor placement of cremated human remains. Each columbarium setting offers a different use of granite or marble with personalization on bronze plates or carved directly into the stone itself. Urn gardens are for those that would like a ground placement for their loved one.

Indoors, glass-fronted niches are popular for permanent placement of cremated human remains, which provide space for an Urn and other personal mementoes to be displayed. Or you can choose an economically priced bronze fronted niche that includes a custom inner urn. These niches are personalized with a bronze name and date plate. Both options provide a rich looking memorial in a dignified indoor setting.

Memorialization allows families to have a lasting remembrance of a loved one. It provides future generations with a permanent record of a person or family's heritage and for the community a public record of its past.
